Friday, November 15th, 2019

Continuing 糖心视频 Commercial Cleaning鈥檚 ongoing support of the , our CEO Kristie Coade and Sales and Operations Director, Matthew Kaneda-Hession participated in the challenge on the 6th of September.

On a brisk Sydney morning in the Botanic Gardens, Kristie and Matthew joined over 90 CEOs and Directors from all over Australia to raise precious funds for children鈥檚 cancer research.

With a wide variety of challenges and dares aiming to both shock and thrill participants, Kristie lived out her childhood circus aspirations by opting for the flying trapeze: 鈥榠t was so rewarding to attend another of these amazing events gathering CEOs together to raise money for the Children鈥檚 Cancer Institute.

鈥楢s corporate partners of the Children鈥檚 Cancer Institute we are incredibly passionate about all the work they do in fighting childhood cancer. To be able to do something daring, such as the trapeze for this cause was fun, exhilarating and thrilling, to raise money while doing it鈥hat鈥檚 even better!鈥

Matthew chose the Daring Delicacy option and explained why the event was so important to him: 鈥榝or the second consecutive year, I have been privileged to participate in the CEO Dare to Cure. As a father of 2 small boys, it is unimaginable for me to understand what the parents of these sick children are going through.

鈥楢ssisting the team to work towards a zero-childhood cancer rate is something that I鈥檓 humbled to be involved with. The team at CCI are truly amazing.鈥

The Dare to Cure fundraiser was an overwhelming success raising $601,285, smashing the initial goal of $550,000. This money that will be invested into vital research which the institute began over 40 years ago. The CCI鈥檚 ongoing hard work has seen the survival rate of children cancer sufferers increase to eight in ten 鈥 a number which would have been unfathomable 20 years ago.
